Coverack Arts Festival ….. Music words and visual arts 27th to 30th July 2019
We are holding a festival to raise funds for the Save Lambeage campaign, our community hall which requires structural repairs of £28k plus refurbishment. Words/Music/Visual Arts will all be represented between Saturday 27th to Monday 29th July 2019. The final programme will continue to be updated on this website and on www.lambeagehall.org.uk .
Lambeage Hall is on a beautiful plot of land by the sea in Coverack. Following fundraising, this land known as Lambeage or The Battery was purchased by the village in 1922. After further fundraising, a hall was built and opened in August 1928 which has evolved into a vital community venue, a space for local clubs, village events, entertainment and social gatherings. This land is the only public green space in the village and used for outdoor festivities and a children’s playground.
A very special and varied and fun programme of events, workshops, and performance over the 3 days is being organised, still evolving, to be held at Lambeage Hall, School Hill, Coverack TR12 6SY unless otherwise stated.
